It’s Friday and I’m heading off to Vegas, baby!
Being that this is the first time in a long time that I’m visiting Sin City in the spring (it’s supposed to be 80 degrees tomorrow!) and there’s only one thing I want to do when I get there – hit the pool, baby! Okay second thing since the first thing will be the Blackjack table when I arrive tonight at 9pm 
But before I soak in the sun and chlorine tomorrow at the Venetian Hotel pool, I need to prep to make sure my skin is as soft as can be.
First, exfoliate! Slosh off dead skin cells to reveal brighter, softer you. I’ve tried many body scrubs and exfoliators and one of my favorites is Thymes Essentials Body Scrub ($36 US). It’s a sugar scrub that smells deliciously citrusy like tangerines, grapefruit, and orange.
Shave those legs! No one wants to look or feel prickly legs so I shave my gams with the Venus Embrace by Gillette. With five blades I know this baby will get rid of every pesky hair.
Don’t forget to moisturize! Bliss Body Butters are products that I gift to friends often. Now if only someone would gift me the new Blood Orange + White Pepper Body Butter ($35 US) to tote along on my trip. Uber moisturizing and smells yummy (did I mention I love things that smell like citrus?)
Give a little color, to your skin that is! I know I’ll be laying out at the pool, but since I’ve been hiding under layers in San Francisco’s fickle microclimate my legs haven’t seen the sun in a while. Try Benefit Cosmetics’ Jiffy Tan ($28 US), a tinted-body lotion that will help to give you color in just 10 minutes. For a deeper faux tan, just keep layering!
Get a wax! Bikini season calls for regular bikini waxes. Jeannie told us about READY betty Ultimate Stylin’ Kit yesterday but I’d much rather leave it up to the professionals.
