I woke up early this morning feeling extremely annoyed with my coughing and finally decided to bite the bullet and make a doctor’s appointment for what I hope is not bronchitis.
Thankfully she had an opening this afternoon before the holiday – I don’t think I can bear 4 more days of cough attacks in the middle of the night. This means that tomorrow I will give thanks for my awesome doc 
Now that I have the appointment squared away, I had to figure out how I was going to do my makeup for the visit. I know what you’re thinking, who cares what you look like when you go to the doc’s office, you’re sick!
Well, I’m not really that sick and my doctor is so sassy that we often trade beauty secrets every time I see her. Last time I went in, she had amazingly gorgeous lashes and shared with me the place in the city where she gets lash extensions.
So for my FOTD today, I thought I’d go the playful route and wore Rave Pearlglide Eye Liner from MAC’s Suite Array collection. It’s a subtle, deep purple with a bling of purple glitter if you look closely. I love it because it glides on nicely making it super easy to apply. This is sold-out on the MAC site but you can check with your local counter to see if they still have a few in stock.
Also on my eyes are the light gray side of Smoke & Ash duo and the dark blue side of Blue Zone duo, both also from Suite Array, along with two coats of BADgal Plum Mascara from Benefit.
To finish the look, I added a little more bling with a bolder pop of color by coating my lips with Love Alert Dazzleglass from MAC’s Red She Said Holiday Collection.
It’s just about that time, I’m going to see if I can rest for 20 minutes before I head out to her office.
What are you last minute plans today before Thanksgiving? I still have lots of baking to do when I get back; hopefully I have all the ingredients I need so that I don’t have to venture out to the grocery store. I’m sure it’s super crazy out there today with the rain too!
